Q-BA provides a professional community for networking, mentorship, and collaboration, offering educational opportunities through seminars, online forums, and biennial meetings. The academy seeks to create an inclusive and supportive training environment that will prepare the next generation of quantitative bone ultrasound researchers
- The new book “Quantification of Biophysical Parameters in Medical Imaging” by Ingolf Sack and Tobias Schaeffter offers a comprehensive compendium of physical equations for image reconstruction and motion coding in medical imaging. Material properties of soft tissue are discussed as well as their quantification using imaging measurement techniques. Another part describes biophysics-based approaches used in quantitative medical imaging.
Prof. Raum and his team have contributed a chapter on quantitative bone ultrasound imaging. Click Here - BoneUS has joined the Committee of National Societies of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF). We will inform you about the benefits of the liaison shortly.
